About Charletta Dennis, MD, QME

Who I Am
I’m a board-certified psychiatrist and Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME) specializing in forensic psychiatry. With over 14 years of experience, I provide independent medical evaluations for California Workers’ Compensation cases.
My role as a QME is simple: to provide clear, objective, and thorough assessments. I help injured workers, attorneys, and insurance providers make informed decisions based on evidence-based evaluations.
I assess psychiatric conditions related to workplace injuries, including:
✅ Work-related stress & burnout
✅ Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
✅ Depression & anxiety
✅ Psychiatric disability & impairment ratings
If your claim involves a mental health dispute, I’m here to help with accurate and fair evaluations.
My Experience & Qualifications
I earned my medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine and have spent over a decade specializing in psychiatry and forensic evaluations. I am board-certified in both Psychiatry and Forensic Psychiatry, ensuring that my assessments meet the highest standards of accuracy and professionalism.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with patients, attorneys, and insurance providers to evaluate complex psychiatric cases. I understand that a workers’ compensation claim can be stressful, and my role as a QME is to provide an independent, evidence-based evaluation that supports a fair resolution for everyone involved.
