Charletta Dennis, MD, QME is a board-certified psychiatrist and fellowship-trained forensic psychiatrist with extensive experience across correctional, court, and workers’ compensation settings. She maintains an active clinical and forensic practice focused on evaluating trauma-related psychiatric conditions, psychological injury, and complex mental health cases within legal contexts.
Dr. Dennis has developed deep expertise in assessing conditions such as PTSD, depression, anxiety disorders, and psychological sequelae of physical injury. Her evaluations are grounded in evidence-based psychiatric principles, incorporating comprehensive record review, clinical interviews, and collateral analysis to ensure accuracy and defensibility.
Her clinical background includes leadership roles in large-scale healthcare systems, most notably serving as Medical Director of Behavioral Health for a multi-state health plan. In this role, she has overseen high-acuity psychiatric cases, evaluated medical necessity for various levels of care, and contributed to policy development and quality improvement initiatives.
